We Give Thanks For Support at the Luncheon and Throughout the Years

At this time of year for giving thanks and gifts, we are so deeply grateful to all of you who attend the November 7 Dog Day Luncheon fundraiser and of course everyone who has donated and supported us throughout the years. Without your gifts and donations, we could not continue saving the lives of abandoned and homeless dogs.

The Luncheon was such great fun and it was especially heartwarming to get together with so many of our dog-loving, generous donors.

Most of our donations come through fundraisers such as the recent luncheon held at the Mountain View Country Club. Thanks to the 215 guests who attended the luncheon and fashion show, we raised $30,683.67.

The event honored our long-time donor, Surphue Conte, and our great supporter and life-long animal welfare advocate actress Cindy Williams.

Cindy Williams also donated copies of her new book “Shirley I Jest” to raise funds for the center.

A variety of unique and valuable silent auction items helped to raise funds too. A big Thank You to everyone who donated auction items and to those of you who purchased them!

If you were not able to attend and want to help us continue saving pets’ lives, please donate. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, your donations are tax deductible.

The funds we raised at the luncheon covers nearly a third of the operational costs for the center. Liability insurance and vet bills continue to increase so we are always in need of funds to cover costs throughout the year.
